Jack Arthur Simanjuntak received his M.Des.Sc. degree from University of Sydney in 2003, majoring audio-sound design. From 2006 to 2014 he worked as sound supervisor, sound designer and music producer for TV programs, motion pictures, music production, art performances.
He has led workshops and seminars on sound, music, recording, and sound-art at several events and universities. Since 2004 he has been teaching at Conservatory of Music UPH.
Currently he is completing his Ph.D in the field of music acoustics, sound recording & reconstructions, and Indonesian traditional music instruments at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
